Steepletown appoints Emilio Zamarripa as new Executive Director
Intro New ED Emilio

“It is a privilege to announce that Emilio Zamarripa has accepted the role as Executive Director for Steepletown Neighborhood Services. Emilio is someone who without hesitation will do his best to support our future leaders and help encourage minds to be the best they can be. ” Maximiliano Velasco, Board Chair

Since his introduction to Steepletown as a Bachelors of Social Work intern in the fall of 2010, Emilio has actively participated and led Steepletown’s growth. And while the community needs have shifted over the past decade, the framework to how he’s shown up for our community has remained unwavered. Emilio has been privileged to support agency developments within multiple roles – unpaid intern, volunteer, part-time case manager, full-time case manager, and program director. In his role as Workforce Development Director over the past 9 years, he’s gained the effective leadership skills to accomplish our agency’s goals, and meet the expectations of stakeholders.

“I do not underestimate the challenges of the role of Executive Director, and respect the groundwork laid by Dick Bulkowski over the past 30 years,” states Zamarripa. “I’ve had the privilege of curating leadership styles and strategies when collaborating with partner agencies and businesses over my time with Steepletown. I remain committed to being an inspiration to the staff, a decisive and informed leader, and ensuring the future of Steepletown has a clear and renewed vision driven by people, performance metrics and core values.”

While he is not new to us, please join us welcoming Emilio to this new role. #steepleforthepeople
